Limnodynastes dumerili
The Bull Frog is a very
robust frog. It can gain a maximum length of 7cm and is usually
brown in colour. It lives in a small hole under damp wood or
stones. It can bread throughout the year in non-moving or
slow-moving water. It can lay approximately 1000 eggs which are
placed within the stalks of water grasses or on stones. The
tabpole stage lasts 3 months.
